This online course is geared toward students and new graduates looking to learn more about Private Practice within the field physiotherapy.
Join our panel of physiotherapists from across the country, working in various private practice settings, to find out what a day in their work life looks like!

Speakers:
Chris Landa
Chris graduated from McMaster University Master of Science in Physiotherapy program in 2021. He began working with CPA's PPD during his first year of studies and has continued since. He has an interest in working with patients to focus on empowerment towards self-management and is currently taking courses on acupuncture and functional range conditioning. Chris plans on continuing his career into pelvic floor.
Paula Wong
Paula is a kind and compassionate physiotherapist who strives to provide individualized treatment based on your needs and goals. Paula has experience working with people of all ages and a wide variety of conditions. With her background of varsity soccer and ultimate frisbee, she especially enjoys helping athletes (and weekend warriors) return to sport. Paula also enjoys helping those with chronic neck and back pain get back to where they need to be!
Paula is a graduate of Queen’s University, where she completed both her Masters of Science in Physiotherapy and her Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. Paula has completed additional courses in manual therapy, spinal manipulation, soft tissue techniques, taping, acupuncture and functional dry needling. She uses these tools along with corrective exercises and client education to help reduce pain, return to function and prevent re-injury.
Paula is the clinic director and a part owner of Market Mall Physiotherapy, roles that she has enjoyed learning and growing in in recent years.
When not in the clinic, Paula loves to get outside and can usually be found hiking or camping, playing ultimate frisbee, and traveling.
Ronnie Hatcher
Ronnie is a physiotherapist working out at Waterview Physiotherapy and Health Centre in Grimsby. Ronnie is a McMaster 2020 grad that has been working in the Niagara area. She treats both orthopedic and pelvic health with a variety of goals and backgrounds. She loves working with students and new grads and and is excited to share her experience with you!
Soroush Peyvandi
Soroush is a registered physiotherapist working in Alberta. He started his journey in Toronto, completing his MScPT at the University of Toronto. He worked with a few private clinics, working his way up to Clinic Director in his first 8 months of practice.
He then took a leap of faith and decided to pack everything up and move to Alberta to start his next chapter.
In Alberta he started MVMT Physio Chiro with his current business partner and went on to partner at 2 additional clinics in the next 2 years.
Currently he works with all three clinics as the Director of Operations & Marketing in addition to working as a Physiotherapist. When he is not working with patients, he is working with the members of the leadership team to strategize and execute on clinic wide initiatives in addition to bringing new business and new employees to the clinics.
